Crypto for Charity uses Amazon Web Services (AWS), which provides SOC 1, 2, and 3 protection.

Crypto for Charity is a non-custodial platform and we never store cryptocurrencies on centralized exchanges for the long term.

All crypto gifts are currently processed through Coinbase Exchange or Gemini Exchange depending on the type of crypto donated. Both are full-reserve exchanges and custodians regulated in the US and hold money transmitter licenses, which require comprehensive anti-money laundering measures to be in place.

Crypto donations through our platform are automatically converted to USD within 10 minutes of receiving them on the exchanges. USD is withdrawn from the exchanges on a weekly basis to an FDIC-insured bank account.
